Terms of use

1. The service

SampleFirst is a controlled product-sampling marketplace. Buyers may evaluate paid samples before larger purchases. Distributors must pass review before listings go live. During gated launch, buyer purchases may be disabled while waitlist and distributor onboarding remain available.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for accurate registration information and for keeping credentials secure. We may suspend accounts that abuse the platform, submit false verification materials, or violate these terms.

3. Buyers

• Samples are for evaluation unless a listing states otherwise
• Do not resell samples when not expressly allowed
• Issue reports must be truthful and include required details
• Waitlist signup does not guarantee invitation or purchase rights

4. Distributors

• You must have authority to sell products you list and provide accurate sample disclosures (size, format, contents)
• Listings may require SampleFirst approval; we may pause or remove risky categories or sellers
• Payouts may be held until fulfillment is verified when sales are live
• You remain responsible for product safety, labeling, and lawful sale in shipping destinations

5. Payments & fees

When checkout is enabled, prices, shipping estimates, and platform fees are shown before payment. Payment processing is handled by third-party providers. Demo or mock checkout modes are not real charges.

6. Intellectual property

SampleFirst branding, software, and editorial content are owned by SampleFirst or its licensors. Distributor product content remains owned by the distributor, with a license for SampleFirst to display it on the marketplace.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, invitation timelines, or commercial outcomes from sampling. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SampleFirst is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of material changes where allowed by law.
